Hi all, It’s been a fun few months, but I wanted to let everyone know that I’ll be shutting down links.dartboard.social on 1/1/24. I wanted to give everyone a month to make arrangements with other communities. At some point in October we had a data loss due to some stupid administration decisions I made when doing an update. I realized my heart was not in maintaining this place; I’m much more in tune with the microblog side of the fediverse (find me at @knova@lostcreek.social). As such, I’ll be shuttering this community and creating a casual account for myself on another instance to continue my lurking. I’m not sure what the next best camping-and-hiking community is on the fediverse but we collectively have 30 days to find it together. Thanks to everyone who posted content and engaged with each other for the last few months.
