Last floor of a very successful berserker run. The imp quest netted a ring of wealth +2 to go with the alchemy kit I found earlier on. After a couple of SoUs into the ring I was swimming in upgraded scrolls throughout the demon halls, then a summoning trap room spawned adjacent to the entrance.

      Psionic blast wiped the entire map in one turn, the ring of wealth turned them into delicious items and the alchemy kit generated a nice pile of energy to boot.

      I always try to save mind vision, magic mapping and retribution scrolls for the demon halls. The combo of mind vision plus psionic blast will clear any level and turn it into a pile of loot instantly. Magic mapping means you won’t accidentally step on any traps while you clean up.

      Re demon halls: don’t set off your psionic blast while the evil eyes are charging or you’ll be left with a lot of half dead evil eyes afterwards. That’s never fun.
