“Goel and his accomplices, who are not named in the indictment, are accused of creating fake host accounts in order to pull off the scam at Airbnb and two other short-term rental sites, Vrbo and Homeaway.”

That the sites are allowing people to victimize and take advantage of others to such a degree and for so long of time, shows they’re complicit. the marketplace is a failure and should be regulated, as they clearly won’t regulate themselves or their predatory users. The accomplices should be named as well, just another shortcoming of this case.
