Don’t know how many folks have heard about Libby, but I’ve used it for a couple years now.
Libby let’s you browse your local library’s digital catalogue, including all of their audio books. Books can be borrowed for up to 3 weeks, with the option to extend it a sling as there’s no one waiting for it. Works on Apple, Android, and in your browser. Best of all, it’s all free! I dumped Audible for it and haven’t looked back.
Another vote for Libby.
I am lucky to have the local library have a huge catalogue available via Libby.
Check out yours, you may be quite surprised.
I’ve been using Libby extensively lately, mostly catching up on graphic novels that I’ve been meaning to read. My city library is well-integrated with it and carries a great selection!
I feel like I’ve heard of other free online libraries that can be connected to through Libby (or at least through the old app, Overdrive). If I find some I’ll add them here later.
Yeah, I was looking on Google and found a years old reddit post saying you can apply as a non-local member to some libraries, but one of the ones I had time to try worked.
