Seems like politicians, police, and religious leaders should be where everyone’s looking to find child abusers - but somehow those people never end up getting properly looked into…
Religion is a stain on us. Priests raping children is one way that stain manifests.
There are plenty of chill religions that don’t rape people or express bigotry though.
It’s a low bar, but some do make the cut.
Hate to break it to you but it’s been like this forever. The catholic church is the largest organized pedophile protecting ring ever. Your best bet is to stop giving them money and practice your faith away from megacorps that enable systematic child abuse.
