Hello fellow curly-haired people!

I just wanted to recommend the linked detangler brush. I use this one in the shower on wet hair and it has been a game-changer-- way less pulling and breakage and hair loss in general. I was using a wide-tooth comb before I came across this brush, but it’s soooo much nicer and I don’t spend 30 minutes picking through my hair now. If you haven’t tried one of these brushes, it’s totally worth the $5!

I saw Manes by Mel use this in one of her vids and have been thinking of getting one. I use a Wet brush now and am reasonably happy with it.

I’m so happy to have found this new curly community! I’ve felt so stranded (lol, sorry) since leaving Reddit a month ago.

They make one with a handle now!?!? The only thing that bugs me about my tangle teaser is that it has no handle! It occasionally flies out of my hand and bashes around the bathroom lol.

Interesting brush. I enjoy a mix of starting with finger detangling (wet with conditioner) and then either a wooden wide tooth comb or the fine/fragile wet tangle teezer (has a handle) to further detangle and style. I love the tangle teezer wet detangler. I tried the tangle teezer wide tooth comb and did not like having to wrestle with the teeth side to get the shed hair out. I also tried the tangle teezer original that has no handle and I kept dropping it so it cracked in half and broke lol
