She’s that sad center-right that passes for left in the US. But she’s not the christian taliban, so, the obvious choice.

I had a coworker at my old company call her communist and I was like… “What the fuck are you talking about?” And he was like “well that’s what my Cuban dad said” and we had to like… Go over what her actual positions were and at the end be was like “Jesus she seems… Really reasonable” and it was just like “yeah man. America is really far right. She’s pretty much the dead center of left in this country. A communist she certainly is not”

It’s wild how many conservatives would flip if they just had a thought in their heads for more than half a second. I’ve had a similar experience with certain things while talking to strangers and it’s funny, if not a little sad, when they go “oh I guess that makes sense when you think about it, yea”.

Very interesting! I’d like to add to this by saying that most people outside of the US see Kamala as a plain fascist! Its very interesting to compare such points of view!

I dont and I dont really see why you would? Like she might be racist etc, but it seems pretty clear to me that she is not trying to do a fascism.

Promoting genocide or participating in one is not really something that qualifies a person as a fascist. I think its fair to point out her support of Israels actions and while trying be more precise with the language we use. I think its important make it clear how even folks that are not fascists can do awful things.

Fascism isn’t an opinion. We have definitions for systems of government and there are countless scholarly articles about what constitutes fascism. Things can be horrible and not be fascist, most governments are.
