Today marks 6 years since Valve decided to change everything, especially for Linux fans, with the announcement of Steam Play Proton. Thanks to it, the Steam Deck and Desktop Linux gaming have continued to thrive.

    I remember trying to get wine gaming working in 2012. Oh boy was that painful and I didn’t get good results. A year ago I switched to a Linux desktop. Oh boy have things come a long way. Super easy and ran perfectly, once I ditched my Nvidia card for an AMD one ;)
