it seems goofy to me that they didn’t take into account indoor light, as if your synapses differentiate between photons hitting your retinas and skin outside vs inside
also is there even such a thing as a place that has light pollution but not enough air pollution for that to be a bigger factor?
can someone make this whole thing not seem dumb to me?
This was my thought. Most light pollution is in cities where you also have all sorts of other pollution. Reminds me just yesterday of an ingnoble study that said placebos with side effects work better than not but they were testing for pain tolerance and they produced the “side effect” with capsacin which is known to reduce pain.
