Yeah, the markdown doesn’t seem to work on Lemmy titles

Unfortunately yes. If I’m making a post in Mastodon that I link to Lemmy, I make sure to put all the hash tags last to hopefully avoid this mess.
I’m not sure why hashtags are handled like this in Lemmy post titles.
