My 18 year old sphynx, Hairry, is doing well in his recovery from heart failure. Not as active as he used to be, but his appetite and thirst are at reasonable levels again and he’s able and willing to move with the sunbeams across the house.

Enjoying the lazy morning.

Our dog gets distracted easily and doesn’t react when we call her while we’re outside.

Occasionally, she decides she wants to visit the neigbors and takes off down the street with my fat ass in hot pursuit. And she loves to let us get close and run around us as we try to catch her to bring her inside. It’s just a game to her, but it drives me nuts.

And then she runs back to the door to go inside as if it was what she wanted to do, and I’m thinking “nah, bitch, we go inside because I want to, not because you do.”

I’ve been sick so my best cat has been glued to my side all weekend. Dr Fuzzy is the best.

Apparently dogs can get norovirus too. He threw up his meals twice. We were both miserable yesterday but so far this morning we both seem to be improving.

It’s finally cool enough to sit outside!

I just had a neat experience. There is a neighbors cat I see outside often. It was at my front door today! Buff colored puffball. So friendly, I picked her up, snuggled for a minute, then I walked her back to her owners house and she just talked to me and followed the whole way back. ❤️. Then I come back inside and snuggle with my own kitties.
