You thought you had to restrain yourself, but you… supposed erroneously.
Don’t make me come over there with my “Gene Kelley had a high fever when performing the famous Singin’ in the Rain scene and the rain was made visible by adding milk, making the whole place stink for days” facts. Because I’ll do it.

Well, it’s a movie about making movies, I think that choice is fitting.
Yep. When you hear Jimmy Durante’s version of Singin’ in the Rain 20 years earlier in Speak Easily after seeing the movie with that title first, it’s super weird.
OMG it’s a Buster Keaton film too!!
I know what my wife and I are watching tonight.
It’s not terrific, but it’s fun.
Demonstrating that the arrangement, choreography, and singing are what make the movie a classic.
