In their despair at Donald Trump’s victory, liberal pundits are concluding that the masses, especially the working class, are irredeemably terrible. That’s apolitical nonsense.

    Of course.

    The United States chose: a world of conspiracy theory and hearsay as fact; pseudoscience and speaking in tongues over reason; rule of man over rule of law; whiteness over everybody else; and the promise of crypto wealth over women’s health.

    The kids who, without a glimmer of intelligence in their eyes, told you it’s a fact that Marilyn Manson had a rib removed to suck his own dick, are now grown up and running the country.

    It feels impossible when the competition was spewing hate and easily disproved lies and that seemed to win over people.

    It is time for real local politics. Go hard left in city, county and state elections. It can’t be done top-down, obviously.
