I doubt that this was surprising to anyone who’s watched this Court so far. The only real question was how far would they go? So what do you all think about it?
I think this was a bandaid for the real problems… and i understand the decision I think. It did good at times, but it can’t really solve what it sets out to do. I hope that other societal approaches are adopted to solve the problems that these programs sought to fight, but I’m not optimistic.
I think I agree. Like I totally agree with the spirit of the law but, at least from what I’ve seen and experienced firsthand, it hasn’t really helped as much as the societal issues it has caused. Of course, like all things like this, there’s nuances and plenty of things that I don’t see or know about so I take my own opinion with a grain of salt. Just speaking from my own personal experiences.
