The Miata is such a fun car, I love it despite not fitting into it. It’s definitely not meant for big or tall people, but so worth it. Actually I didn’t know they still sold them since they all disappeared

Of course I have to admit to choosing the Forester instead as a much more practical car but also the most roomy of any car I’ve been in. It had been decades since I was in a car where my head didn’t touch the ceiling, where my legs were not all cramped up trying trying to fit into the tiny footwell, where there was space for my elbows. And yes that includes big cars: an oversized vehicle does not necessarily translate into more space for the driver
