5.2 , slowly migrating all my homelab to quadlets.
Except that a tablet sized screen is not accomplishing the same goal as proper visibility and people should have the freedom to use the public road safely first and foremost.
To be fair, even in Linux it’s really hard to kill a zombie process. You have to tell the parent to own up to their kid, and then kill the parent.
She’s turning into Lain.
Same vibe as:
“I won’t work overtime because I end up losing money on taxes”
That’s not how tax brackets work!
“100% made of Cessna concentrate”
I still have my first gen (first batch) framework laptop that I abuse daily. Had to replace the CPU fan on it but that’s about it and it was really easy.
I’ve always had Fedora or a derivative installed without issue other than the standard 1st gen stuff like battery life. Overall really great experience.
Now one thing I’ll say and it might apply for other brands as well, it’s really picky in term of docking station. If you intend to use one search the community forum first.
I really like this comic. Just in case someone didn’t know in Linux you can:
-Ctrl + r to search previous commands
Or
-type history and precede the command number by an exclamation (!) to repeat the command (I.e. “!13”)
If Devs put that much effort in making games visually appealing, I should be able to choose the character that I find the most visually appealing to go with it. It shouldn’t be that controversial.
I’m not the OG on this, just an old reddit post I remembered

Yeah sorry I deleted my comment as it was supposed to be posted in a comment chain, with the context.
pep8 calls for 4 space but it is a guidance not a rule.
Google internal style guide recommend(ed?) 2 spaces to accomodate the line length limit.
YAML makes you appreciate Python’s 4 spaces indentation.

Depending what’s you router you can usually open communication between different VLAN for specific ip/port. So let’s say your camera use rtsp to send video data to your NVR you could allow for port 554 to be opened between your camera ip and the NVR.
This means that even if someone has access to your camera they couldn’t do an ssh (port 22) or http/https (80/443) requests to your internal network.
For PoE cams installed outside, creating a separate VLAN is an absolute must. Otherwise anyone could use the Ethernet cable to access your network and steal your data.
The election system was established when the country had a fraction of the current population of the UK.
This is what flabbergast me the most as a Canadian, how long do you need to convince people to vote for one of TWO party?
2 months is enough. Anything longer than this and by the time the election comes it’s already irrelevant.
Maybe they cook only with an air fryer.
