Do you have the ability to request new books in your library so that that way you could get things you are into? There’s also always shadow libraries.

Dude I had no idea implants for chickens existed that’s insane. If I ever got chickens we would be matching.
You’re probably right - the inflation rates were low for a long time so to get that high from indexation on a 100k loan would be pretty unlikely.
I’ve used the 2720 and it’s pretty good. Battery life will be nothing like the old days since it has 4G to contend with. Call quality and hotspot if necessary is decent but is a battery drain. The camera, like most dumbphones, is practically useless. How you like it will depend on whether you like KaiOS, but for the most part it functions fairly well.
Heresy but I’d eat them if I had rescue hens that weren’t interested in eating them. Would probably feed them back their shells though.
Probably medical degrees etc. However, if I were to do a masters in CS it would be 70k so my total debt would be up to something like 110k. Thus, if I do a masters it will be a cheap US-based one I can cashflow because that’s just a stupid amount of debt.
Yeah I assume the reason there isn’t is because the general ones are US-centric by default and then everyone else has to have somewhere specific to go. But I guess if they want their own dedicated place too why not?
National pride ✨
We’re paying them to produce this pollution.
It is a little annoying to see the volume of food they can eat but it’s always going to be annoying. I’m a little taller than average so my maintenance is closer to 2100 at the moment but I still look at my brother needing 2700 and get jealous. At the end of the day you’d both be hungry eating under your maintenance.
Just read reviews?
Woah you were busy
I’ve read both but Animal Farm was for school so naturally I didn’t like it. 1984 was great not just as an interesting read but to understand all of the cultural (and culture war) references to it.
Blasphemy but you can always Google if you just wanna know one thing but can’t finish. I did to the WoT and don’t regret it.
I second Boox as a decent option (though less polished.) Allowed me to get rid of my dumbass Kindle and Kobo dual set up because if there was a book that was exclusively on the Kindle store I can now just get it in the app rather than owning a whole other ereader. The only thing I don’t like about it is it is not as good as either Kobo or Kindle for dictionary lookups. This is especially important to me because I read in foreign languages and need it to be able to either give me a definition or translate it no matter how it’s conjugated. I have found the Kindle app for Android though works pretty well for that purpose so there is an ok solution.
Ooh some Aussie settings too. Very interesting.
Bookwyrm and The Storygraph provide good alternatives!
I haven’t heard it called this before but I agree with others that the general concept is a good idea. We are far too quick to jump to the next processor, the next monitor etc. when those things can realistically last a very long time before hitting too much of a performance limitation (especially for people who don’t render anything like high games or video editing.)
I’m guessing most of the Beehaws at least have duplicates since they cut themselves off.
