Looks like she’s holding A3, not unless she’s absolutely tiny.

It can mean slightly different things, like it could be joking or mocking or taking liberties, or being ridiculous.
Something that I always wonder about people that live in these places is: what do they do for work? There’s barely anything around. My only conclusions are that they’re either retired, or farm workers.
It’s not like you have to upgrade your phone every year. People are on different upgrade cycles in which these devices will be a big upgrade.
I’ve lived in both halves along the bottom and it’s quite accurate. That said, a lot of people in Camarthenshire & Pembrokeshire seem to have quite southernly English accents but are Welsh, a lot are native Welsh speakers so that might give the impression that there’s a lot of English people there.
Driving through FUCKING NOTHING is amazing though, stunning views and countryside. I’ve no idea how the random pockets of people can live there though and not go insane.
I’d like to see a sports specific instance (just something like lemmy.sport) so we could have all the sport communities on one instance, rather than all over the place, and also avoid the weird politics and who’s (not) federated with who issues.
Insurance must be the only industry that actively tries not to deliver the service that its customers pay them for.
South of Scotland is in Scotland. Same way the South of England is in England and the South of France is in France. This is the first time in my life I’ve heard someone make this claim before
Yeah the bathrooms are kind of hard to miss! I think I’d get a headache from the orangey/brown room.
It’s the morning star, not daily star
Well, he could have been kicked out for worse.
I’ve decided to start getting up early on Sunday’s so I can get an early morning run in, and finding the runs a struggle. I’m doing 10k (my longest ever run is only 11km) but they feel a lot more difficult than they do when I run at mid-day or the afternoon.
This Sunday I was up at 5:30, had an overnight oats breakfast, waited about 45 to 50 minutes and headded out for 7am. My legs felt stiff and my upper thighs a bit sore - maybe I need to do more on my warm up than I normally would do?
I’ve been wanting to start pushing past the 10km barrier and work for more but I really struggled, nearly gave up after 7km but just kept going. I’m glad I did but disappointed that I couldn’t go further. Looking at Strava I’ve only done 9 runs that are 10km+ so maybe I’m being a bit hard on myself.
I did wonder if 10km was too short to have a gel, but I might consider it, at least for an early morning run. I haven’t tried having a gel yet so maybe I just need to experiment.
The image quality isn’t amazing but if you zoom in you can see there are trees planted, they’re just small so don’t show up well.
I’ve actually had the opposite of this happen to me, I gave a figure and they offered me more. But I’ve also had this happen too when they’ve gone below what I asked.
I doubt any EU country, or even the US, would actually drag Putin before a court.
Why wouldn’t they?
I’m not even 40 yet and my grandparents were in their 30s when the war ended. My parents had me when I was about my age now and similar for my grandparents for my parents.
