  • When I do it? Yes. J/k

I was always a slower runner but this technique allowed me to get my pace faster without injury. It takes time to understand the technique, build muscle memory, and then increase your pace.

But when I was really into this and running daily (something impossible for me before learning forefoot strike) I had no problem really pouring it on within the limits of my ability. The technique requires a more forward lean for higher pace and it’s not going to work day one. I think I was probably a month into it before I really understood that aspect and then it started adding sprints every so often into my normal pace.

  • Look, I hate the guy, but that is how you bandage an ear.

People got shot so that parts real.

He could have been nicked or he could have caught it on a sharp point bending down or he could have cut it with a fingernail.

My money is on the fingernail. He’s probably on blood thinners. He’s probably got thin, brittle skin. He probably clawed at his ear when the bullet whizzed by.

He could easily have nicked it. A nick can bleed like crazy and also heal very fast.

    From there it’s all spin…

The simplest explanation is probably this given how fast it healed, I guess.

  • I purchased bear spray last year. I had to sign a sheet with my name at the “gun counter” (I have thought of it like this as a kid) and it included basic contact info but the person did not verify the info.

I offered to show my ID and was told it would be checked when I paid for the bear spray.

When I picked up the bear spray at the customer service counter to pay, my ID was not checked.

I am not a teenager or someone who “looks like a criminal” but I would have thought they could at least verify my info. Anyway, hopefully this regulation helps.
