One of the reasons I hate the Bay ending to Life is Strange Season 1 is that it feels like dealing a final blow to a deeply unhappy person, instead of helping them. Chloe lost her father and best friend in quick succession. She grasped at the chance for a new life with Rachel only to find out that Rachel not only died, but had wanted to leave town with someone else. David, Nathan and mr Amber told her she was worthless and a lost cause. All that piled up to the point she couldn’t take it anymore and now Max is supposed to deliver the final blow and let Chloe down one final time? F that.
