Any portion of the ball can hover of the line and it is till in. That’s the rule. VAR needs a definitive angle. There wasn’t one.
Yeah so the ref lets play go on because VAR will fix it and then VAR can’t so by default there’s more leeway for the attackers

Agreed, but if that’s not a possibility then a rule change is better than doing nothing at all
