Hey, can someone please help me identify this bird? Saw it in Yerevan, Armenia today. Google says it’s a desert sparrow, but according to Wiki they don’t live in Armenia. Halp!

The shape of the beak actually looks like the finch family. I looked through common birds of Armenia in Merlin, and Pale Rockfinch seems like a possible choice.
Hope there are experienced birders from your area who can answer this confidently
