I would like to harness the possibility to upvote and downvote posts. Is there a possibility to close the voting? If not, maybe we could use that also – then voting would never stop, which would make things interesting at the very least…

    This could, of course, depend on the rules! But one way might be to say “When this post is X hours/days old, and has a positive score, it goes into effect.” The proposer could then edit their post to reflect that.

        Of course one of the first rules should include the voting time frame but I would propose 24h

          That sounds like it could easily be automated by bot. It just has to comment the total votes after the voting period.

            That would definitely be the best. If the bot repeats the message once when it is first posted and adds the result later, that would also stop people from editing the prompt
