This is one of my favorite games of all time, and this song in particular always leaves me feeling interesting emotions. I love how it starts out sounding tense with the drums and staccato strings before bursting into the main melody, feels so uplifting. Soaring indeed.

Never played Xenogears and contain no interest in doing so, to this day. How ever, as a Chrono enjoyer, I can appreciate Mitsuda’s talent. Glad to know he smashed it in Xenogears as well.

Xenogears is that one game I haven’t played from back in the days… I’m currently playing Chrono Trigger for the firs time lol.
