Reminder that there is no such thing as israeli cuisine
i have yet to see a dish touted as “israeli” that hasn’t been stolen from one of the many existing cultures in the region. couscous, hummus, its all stolen.
I never really understood the concept of cultural appropriation. I thought it was a little far-fetched. Then I learned about “Israeli” cuisine and I immediately got it.
