Not sure what the general consensus is, but I feel the theatrical cut is better than director cut. This is mostly from the music choices but also made it more fun to rewatch as you realize more about the film opposed to getting the book chapters explained.

I’ve only seen the director’s cut, I thought that was difficult enough to understand. Great film though, I’ll be giving this version a go
