    As much as I dislike Trump, it was a small extreme minority of his voters that were in the Capitol riot. As for Trump himself, he contested the presidency, and I admit he’s a terrible person.

      He brought a mob to the capital, riled them up telling them the election was rigged and being stolen from them, and told them to march over there. He’s not innocent in regards to Jan 6th.

        You talking about Trump? If so, I thought I made it clear that I agreed with that pov in my previous comment. But anyway, all I was saying was that the people who initially voted for him didn’t know he would do that, and most did not take part in the riots. There are many other things we can blame them for, but not that.

          It sounded as if you were saying he wasn’t part of the January insurrection. Regardless of his party’s overall opinion, Trump should be kept off the ballot because of his involvement on Jan 6th. Frankly he should be in jail as their leader and instigator.

            Yeah, sorry for not making that clear. I agree that Trump instigated the Capitol riots and should indeed be held responsible.
