I’ve tried and tried to get actual espresso art, but I can’t seem to get it right. I’m certain my foam is perfect because it’s silky and thick and flows out of the cup well. Any advice?
well, my experience is now ten years out of date, so take this with a grain of salt. but I would say your milk isn’t as perfect as you think. it was my experience that foam would act this way, tending to blob on top, whereas properly aerated milk for lattes would mix cleanly with the espresso, producing the familiar orange-brown surface and allowing you to introduce small amounts of foam in a controlled fail to create the art.
