If Democrats do not pick someone who inspires Americans, Donald Trump is going to win.
The key word is “inspire.”
Fear of Trump is not enough. If it were Hillary Clinton would have won and Joe Biden would not have won with such a small margin. We need someone who inspires the masses.
Joe Biden is not that someone.
He kept the status quo at a time when most Americans do not like and do not want the same status quo that is not working for many.
We need someone better or Trump wins.
Will Trump make life for Americans better?
Of course, not, but his people are inspired by him. Despite all reason and logic, nothing you or I say, will convince them how bad he is. -Nothing!!
All we can do is work on ourselves and those who have not drunk his “kool aid.” We need someone who inspires the rest of the population, as much as Trump inspires those crazy people.
That is not, Joe Biden. We need to pick someone better or Trump will win. Fear of Trump is not enough.

@Linux_Is_Best@mstdn.social This is a very complicated problem, but I think Biden can win despite being at best uninspirational.
We live in a class society. The very things that would alleviate the pains of the masses would harm the financial interests of the donors.
Republicans are advantaged in that their base cares about things (the wrong things) that can be appealed to, which do not harm corporate interested.
They don’t have to play the balancing act that the democrats do.
