Just curious. What’s the purpose of an alt account in the fediverse? Just wondering if I’m missing something.
I don’t have a big reason. I signed up for a secondary account on a tiny instance when lemmy.world was having trouble. I like the more close-knit feel, but I was also already kind of established here. So I just have both now.
