Today I was browsing the Firefox add-on store and came across the “Enhancer for YouTube” add-on. I looked at the comments for the add-on and saw that new comments had been posted throughout the day. I immediately reinstalled it, yay!

      For me you can set videos to automatically play at their highest resolution, as well as launching a miniplayer that continues showing the video when you scroll down and look at comments.

        I installed it specifically for this, but kept it for all the other perks as well… it is so stupid to me that Google hasn’t implemented this already… hasn’t the mobile app had this feature since forever?

      I use the default playback quality, default video speed and default volume, so I watch every video in 1080p, at 1.5x speed and 75% volume. I also use the mouse wheel features.

      Mine is just making the videos fit the window without full screening. I have been using this addon for years mostly for just that feature.
