Curious how others are using Immich. I am currently running it on a TrueNas Scale system, but am planning on running it on either a VPS or a self hosted server via Docker in the future.

    I only learned about Immich recently and haven’t gotten to building it out yet, but my plan is this:

    • Immich running on my home-server with lots of disk space.
    • A VPS running Caddy
    • Headscale/Tailscale tieing them together in a VPN.
    • Caddy proxies Immich for gallery sharing.

    You accomplish the same goal around access for public sharing with Cloudflare, but I’ve had a VPS for a long while and run other stuff on it.
