I can see why he was pissed, but to quote Wes Macaulay… You can’t do that.

For what it’s worth, I think the slapshot-empty netter is hilarious, especially against a rival team.

      Couldn’t tell you when, but could you imagine how stupid he’d feel if he missed? I don’t own balls big enough to take that risk, so you’ve gotta respect it.

      I distinctly remember Nathan MacKinnon doing it recently. Maybe last year or the year before. It could have been in the postseason.
