Blahaj is the name of a shark sold at IKEA. It just follows the same naming convention of most IKEA products. It became a popular symbol for trans youths, I don’t think there was a specific reason. Just kinda caught on in the way that Internet trends do. That’s the shark on the table.

There is a reason, originally it’s the colours. Also they’re cuddley.

The color scheme of blåhaj roughly resembles the colors of the trans flag
