My husband has episodic mystery illnesses and needs to speak with a doctor. But we’re not sure whether it should be an internist, or a metabolic geneticist, or what. I really don’t know where to start. Is there a subreddit for doctor recommendations? We are in Canada and the wait is just too long to see specialists. About up to a 2 year wait. So I need someone in the US or Europe or somewhere else in the world that will do paid telemedicine consults.
