This opinion piece really sucks. I can’t tell if the author is completely clueless or is actually pushing a narrative.

It attempts to reframe Democratic politician’s abject abandonment of the working class as a problem with communication. As if we “less educated” voters simply can’t understand that Democratic policies are good.

We get it, jack. We see a lot more than you think.

But there are vanishingly few candidates who combined full-throated economic populism with the ambitious economic policies Democrats need to send working-class voters a credible message that they really understand and care about the issues they care about.

Yes, author aaaaalmost gets it, but the problem is Democratic candidates, and even the author themselves are focusing too much on the message. Thing is, you can only lie to people so many times before your message had to be action.

No more messaging, dems! We don’t believe you. Pass legislation that helps. Have a real platform that helps us working people. Not fucking messaging. Policy.

    Policy.

    Policy

And then once your platform is on change, fucking get. R. done. No excuses.

They’re are other issues with author’s take but this’ll do
