Honestly I’m surprised it took this long. The only other issue I’ve ever seen (between revanced and the original vanced app) is the watch history not saving a couple weeks back.

Just repatch the app again. I use v 19.09.37 and apparently they have solved these playback issues.
Don’t forget that you also need to replace vanced microg with Revanced microg as well.
I got the same thing last night, and so I uninstalled and followed this video.
Was too lazy lastnight: but uninstalling youtube, then reinstalling the revanced youtube apk + updating microg and we’re back up and running. (youtube wouldn’t update in-place, but microg would)
