Had to deal with a shitty coworkers microaggressions and I called her out on it. She immediately got defensive so I dropped it, but my non-binary coworker just walked by and said “cis people” and it completely flipped my mood around and made me laugh really hard.

She’s known I’m trans and I’ve told her not to call me those things before. I don’t think it’s deliberate with her per se, but she is a pretty aggressive manager so either way she needs to be told pretty firmly to hear it

i don’t have any more patience with people like that i believe they all know what they are up to. i have philosophically, behaviorally, and chemically questioned everything that is going on with people transitioning but never once through that did it occur to me to try to treat someone differently than how they wanted, in such a simply helpful way. In the end I came to the conclusion that people’s bluntly insulting ideas buried a false premise and if approached seriously would make people more valid not less (atrazine, CSA trauma).
