Bellevue, Apr 5 (Hexbear) - During a surprise live stream dubbed “Valve Time” Gave Newell (Valve Software) appeared to announce the release of “Half-Life 3” for sale exclusively on Valve’s Steam storefront.
Newell stated the game will once again put players within the mind of long-time Half-Life protagonist “Gordon Freeman” and will feature a single player story taking place after the events of Half-Life 2 Episode 2.
About 13 months ago I had a dream about the sudden release of a brand new Half-Life 2 x Neon Genesis Evangelion crossover video game. In the dream I only played through a small part of the game, of which I only actually remember the map wherein Gordon Freeman met Asuka Langley Soryu, who would presumably be filling in for Alyx as Gordon’s partner for the duration of the game.
When I woke up I gave the dream game the title 「EVλNGELION ~A HλLF-LIFE STORY~」 and realized that the obvious premise of such a game would be Half-Life 2 but with mechs, which sounds awesome and I kinda want that to be a real thing now.
See, if you’re gonna get people to eat the onion, it needs to be at least somewhat believable.-
Next day: Silksong is released.
Day after: Fortnite shuts downs and Epic Games is dissolved, Tim Sweeney is executed live on CNN for first, having a dumb last name, and second, for being a total piece of shit.
I admit you had me in the first half (life)
I hate you
