I purchased UF-AE with the idea to bridge a direct fiber link to my out building, and I ran into an issue I’m trying to resolve.

The UF-AE is connected to a test usw-flex poe switch with a short lc to lc om3 fiber cable and two 1.25gb transceivers, although the uf-ae shows it powered on it does see a 1Gbps ethernet plugged in, aggregation also sees it however there’s no ethernet light displaying which is connected to a switch.

The switch shows a 1Gbps ethernet light that’s flashing, though, so I’m a bit confused about what I should do for network activity.

I was wondering if this is something I’m supposed to do prior to this working?
