Core gear is 30+ years old and needs a facelift.

Here’s what’s going out:

Sony GX700ES receiver - works with a dirty A/B switch, but doesn’t have any contemporary jacks (no HDMI)

Sony 5CD Changer - CDP-CE245 - was a workhorse but carousel now bust beyond repair

Sony TC-W370 dual tape deck - heads have stopped turning; haven’t had the chance to rip it open and clean it up

Here’s what’s staying:

Denon DP-25F Turntable - works great, just no USB option

Sony KDL-60R150A LED TV

Jensen speakers c.1990 - sound great and have ironclad transformers

Would love suggestions on the following:

New AV Receiver

Good multi-CD changer (I’m a purist)

Displacement for speakers - don’t need surround, but center and subs considered

Family Room is 14 x 18 x 8

Budget for components: $3K

Budget for speakers: $2K

Total budget $5K ish

Willing to spend for quality as the last iteration lasted 30+ years
