I’m looking at getting a pair of JBL L82s after an impressive demo in store. Problem is, my wife can’t stand the stands (pun intended) - and for the sake of bliss and harmony I tend to agree with her.

We both prefer the look of floor standers but I’ve been wooed by the combination of playful looks and dynamic sound. They are an unusual size and I wonder how they would work setup on a riser similar to the Model 3s? Any other alternatives?
