Kiddo lives with me in London, attends a French school (autistic but top of his class in French & maths), will go on to French Lycée after this year. But (he’s an amateur geographer) wants to live in Bulle (FR) eventually, never mind his commune d’origine is Bremgarten (AG) which he visited a few weeks ago with me, and Bulle too (he knew all the streets and where to find McDo). French is his mother tongue, English bilingual, German nada.

So: should he aspire to going to uni in Fribourg and if so does he need to be fluent in German beforehand? I keep telling him to look to engineering for study & career.
