Hi, so got the contract for an appartment and the rent is a fixed price but the Nebenkosten are "akonto’ and can vary…

So there is a fixed “akonto” price that I am supposed to pay every month but it can be more, i guess?

Is this normal or is this something I should avoid in the appatment search?
