Not likely. The drones usually use a contact wire to donate, which will still go off when it hits this, and their backs are exposed. This will just make it more awkward to drive. That’s it.
In fact, this seems to make the surface area for the contact wires to hit much larger, probably makes it an easier target.
Yah, it just seemed like bad theory to me.
