Damn ngl I really want to import this phone. Like yeah it’s no flagship. But I still think it’s a cool concept
LMAO “It’s not good but it works”
Such brutal honesty about their cameras 😭
Translation error? Reminds me of the slogan for No Brand Burger in Korea: ‘Why Pay More? It’s Good Enough’. You can see what they were trying to say but it doesn’t actually make the product sound particularly enticing lol
I for one am stoked about their “5G Mobile Iinternet”
You’re not psyched about the pulyarbnnntelpc shell? Finally, a smartphone maker that’s not afraid to experiment with materials from the hell plane.
Probably only possible thanks to their 120Hz Gigh refresh rate. Everyone knows pulyarbnnntelpc becomes unstable if you do not sufficiently refresh your Gigh.
Cool design and good spec for the pricing. But the software privacy and support is to be tested.
No LTE band 71 which I believe is what causes issues with TMobile in the USA. Zenfone 8/9 were missing it as well
Yeah. But also at the same time moondrop is telling you that you need to side load gms currently.
I see the lack of pre-installed google apps as a bonus.
Very interested in this considering the specs for possible price. Would love to know exactly which cirrus logic DAC is in this device though. Also I’d be fine with sticking to Android 13 for an audio focused phone but wish they’d at least commit to security patches
They had the info in the Chinese announcement I think. But I need to find it again
It’s funny how everybody goes like it’s ok to have a notch in phones yet the marketing materials will go all the length to try and hide them.
They are selling it without Google services? Lol good luck outside China
Bootloader can be unlocked? Although mediatek+custom ROM is not a good experience
I was surprised to see moondrop releasing an android device. If they can keep it affordable it will sell well.
It’s 350$
As an iPhone user, that’s a STEAL for the specs
Quick edit: can you use it degoogled, I wonder?
It doesn’t come with any google apps/services
That’s dope.
Would kinda work on T-Mobile but no 4G/5G band 71 as another commenter mentioned. Would work ok on AT&T but they probably would block it. Would be terrible on Verizon without band 13.
Would be a good Wi-Fi mp3 player though.
Late to this just found an article about it but hope this actually sells well I miss my headphones jack :(
I mean you can buy it rn from hi-fi go still I think.
