The crazy thing is I swear this happened before. Shit, I swear I posted an article like this on Lemmy once. I even made a similar comment and have a vague memory of a mod or someone getting mad at me for encouraging people to spam the website (I would never! I’m just sharing information). Can’t remember what state it was and it might have been a slightly different law. Maybe it was reporting abortions in Texas?

There was the time it happened the other way and corporations flooded the FTC with false reports of “Take away my net neutrality harder, daddy!”
