Just adding onto this comment with quotes from the article:
Not because it’s not great — it is great! It’s just that for $250 less, you can get the base iPad, which is just about as good at every common iPad activity.
I can’t imagine owning a device without HDR at this point. So much media uses it and it’s great. My only exception is a old Nintendo Switch, so it’s disappointing they lack it for base models still.
At this point, I can’t even imagine a tablet without 120hz, but I may be in the minority.
