The president said his Republican rival “snapped” after his 2020 election loss and would now pose a greater threat to the U.S. in a second term.

“Something snapped in this guy—for real—when he lost in 2020,” Biden said. “He can’t accept the fact that he lost, it’s literally driving him crazy.”

    Speaking at a White House reception marking Jewish American Heritage Month later Monday, Biden reiterated his stance that the ICC’s pursuit of an arrest warrant is without merit.

    “It’s clear Israel wants to do all it can to ensure civilian protection,” Biden said. “Let me be clear: What’s happening is not genocide.”

        How is that a straw man?

        I just don’t think we should give credit to someone for advising someone else do the right thing, when they don’t themselves.

        I swear to God that used to be a popular opinion.

        We used to all look down on people that acted like that, being a hypocrite never made anyone better, it usually made them worst. And highlighted when they had (very recently and publicly) went against their own advice.

            I replied to an article about Biden’s words, with his actions from very recently not matching up?

            That seems relevant to the article, and I have no idea how it would be a strawman, or why instead of saying the argument was a strawman, you called me one.

      Clear whataboutism. Trump is a convicted felon and it’s pertinent for biden to speak about how unprecedented Trump’s conviction is while on the campaign trail for 2024. Whether you meant it or not, comparing a quote from Biden about the ICC decision to the years of Trump’s statements attacking and delegitimizing the elections/judicial system in the US is disingenuous. There is a real possibility that the RNC will nominate Trump for president while he is in jail, which is insane.
