Talaga? May nagtatanong palang ganun… I guess some don’t think that clothing is a language or another form of communication.
It kinda makes sense naman, since workwear and leather jackets (action star clothing of choice) are not ideal for our climate. Heck, hoodies nga lang pinagpapawisan na ako once you step out of an office with full blast aircon.
Yun nga lang, the people that make these criticisms commit these “faux pas” themselves. If you check OOTD posts around IG, FB, Discord, and so on, dami mahilig magsuot ng mga denim jackets, fedora hats, overcoats, layers, heavyweight tees, and so on.
I guess the lesson here is, as you said, fashion is often about personal taste. Nagulat nga ako that baggy oversized clothes are the thing na these days because I kinda grew up knowing that you should wear according to your physical profile. But if that’s the trend (and their preference), wear it with pride!
